Tom Sleeter is the Chief Investment Officer and a Financial Adviser for Total Clarity Wealth Management. Tom has also been a Registered Representative with Financial Network Investment Corporation since 1998. He has a substanial background in the security analysis and portfolio management fields. This was an area of concentration for him in graduate school at the University of Chicago.

In 1993 Tom started Heartland Capital Resources, a financial consulting firm that focuses on business valuation studies and special projects involving investment management here and in other countries.

From 1991 to 1992, Tom was Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of Health Directions,a physician practice and surgery center management firm.

Tom was employed at USG Corporation in Chicago from 1984 to 1991. For a portion of that time, until leaving the firm, he served as Director, Pension Investments, where he oversaw the management of the $300 million corporate pension fund. As part of his duties, he interviewed firms that were seeking to be managers of portions of the USG pension fund.

From 1971 - 1979, Tom was at Nalco Chemical Company where he had a series of progressively more responsible positions culminating as Assistant Treasurer.

Tom is active in civic affairs and enjoys traveling, boating, reading and hunting. He serves on the board of Northern Michigan Land, LLC, Sleeter Family Farm Corp., the Downers grove Lions Club, Downers Grove Watch (a civic organization) and the North Providence Ridge Cemetery Association. He has been active in the alumni associations of Michigan State University and the University of Chicago. Tom is the father of two grown children and lives with his wife in Downers Grove, Il.
